B is for Butterfly Jungle

The Butterfly Jungle at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park (formerly and still in my mind the WAP: Wild Animal Park) is an unforgettable experience where you're able mingle with butterflies up close. They land on the plants, flowers, and people walking through the exhibit! The day I was there they were drawn to people wearing yellow and orange, so if you go wear bright colors. The butterflies are so popular that the park gives out free tickets stamped with your viewing time, so you don't have to wait in line for hours. It's like a butterfly "fast pass." After that you'll still have plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the Safari Park and take a ride on the tram past all of the exotic wild animals. It's open until April 7.

It's similar to Butterflies are Blooming at Frederick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids. Sometimes there is snow on the ground outside during March and April in Michigan, so it's thrilling to see butterflies thriving in the tropical environment of the exhibit separated from the frosty weather only by glass!
