Mao Asada won the silver medal at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver last year and is known for her triple axel. But do you remember when she burst onto the scene?
In 2005 she won the Grand Prix Final with this long program to music from the "Nutcracker." In 2006 she was too young to compete at the Torino Olympics, and many predicted she would be the skater of the future.
The success of Yu-Na Kim has overshadowed her lately, but this early performance is fun to watch because it's so light and joyful.
